Our grandparents left Marche with empty pockets but a head full of dreams. Destination: Bolgheri. Here, where no one really believed in the potential of that land, they took out a mortgage and began to work it: vegetables, oil and wine. They brought with them farming skills and the art of marketing, which they knew well from the Marche region. In a few years, amid sweat, stubbornness and fertile land, they paid off their debts and bought new farms. They had nothing, but they created everything. Out of misery was born a new life, rooted in the land and hope.
